He’s going nowhere!” Man United fans send Arsenal message after Anthony Martial scores against Stoke City

Manchester United fans had a message for Arsenal after their 3-0 win over Stoke City on Monday – Anthony Martial isn’t going anywhere.

The France international has been linked with a move to the Gunners, who are keen to land him in exchange for Alexis Sanchez.

The Red Devils are favourites to land the Chilean, whose Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season, for around £35million.

Jose Mourinho’s side are prepared to pay Sanchez’s high wage demands, as well as a signing-on fee in order to get the deal over the line.

They are also willing to hand over Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who was left out of the Red Devils’ squad for their game against the Potters.

But Arsenal want Martial instead; something that, in hindsight, was never truly on the cards.

Mourinho started the young Frenchman up front alongside Romelu Lukaku at old Trafford on Monday night, and sat back as he ran riot.

He doubled the Red Devils’ lead with a spectacular long-range effort, before he set up his Belgian strike partner to make it three.

Martial was all Manchester United fans could talk about as the game fizzled out with the Red Devils very much in control, and many of them turned on Arsenal with a defiant message: Martial is not for sale.
